About Rebecca

A veteran educator in your corner.

For more than two decades I've worked with families of children with special needs — in classrooms, at kitchen tables, and across countless IEP meetings. I've seen what works, what doesn't, and what parents are almost never told they're allowed to ask for.

I started this practice because too many parents walk out of school meetings feeling overwhelmed instead of empowered. My job is to translate the jargon, help you build a plan, and make sure your child's strengths — not just their challenges — are on the table.

This isn't just coaching. It's helping families walk away feeling hopeful.

Questions

Good things to know.

Who do you work with?+

Parents of children with special needs — especially those navigating IEPs, evaluations, or vision-related services — as well as new special education teachers and educators pursuing TVI credentials.

How do sessions work?+

All coaching happens over Zoom or Google Meet. After booking, you'll receive a short intake form so we can make the most of our time together. Most families start with a 60-minute consultation.

Do you attend IEP meetings?+

Yes. As part of an advocacy package I can prepare you before the meeting, attend virtually with you, and debrief afterward with concrete next steps.

What if I'm not sure where to start?+

That's exactly what the free 20-minute discovery call is for. We'll talk through what's happening, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit — no pressure.
